Family: Josh and I have been married for almost 21 years. We have 2 sons. Matthew is 16 years old and is soon to be a Junior at Wylie High School. Matt enjoys swimming for the swim team at the high school. Lucas is 14 and will soon be a Freshman at Wylie High School. Lucas likes running for the cross country team. We’re way too young to have high schoolers, I’m not quite sure how this happened. Being parents has been our biggest joy and blessing in life. We are so grateful and blessed!
Hobbies: Josh likes to golf, fish, camp, and travel. Gail likes to travel, shop, cook, hanging out with friends, and spending time with the family. As a family we enjoy game nights, watching movies, and travelling.
What I like about my ministry: We love children and teens of all ages, and are so happy and excited the Lord has called us to work with the youth of our church. Working with the youth was not our plans, but God’s plan. The Lord placed us in this position to lead and build relationships with the youth. It has not only blessed our lives, but we’ve enjoyed seeing all the work He is doing in the ministry.
Favorite Bible Verses: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Favorite Movies: Josh enjoys war movies, like American Sniper and Lone Survivor. Gail enjoys romantic comedies like Sweet Home Alabama and The Lucky One, and most anything that comes on the Hallmark Channel. Some of our favorite Christian movies are, I Can Only Imagine, Fireproof, and Overcomer. The Passion of the Christ is an all time favorite. It’s really hard to watch and see what Jesus went through for us, but it’s a must watch.
Favorite Foods: Food, we really like just about anything. We like eating out, less mess to clean up. At home Josh’s favorite is a juicy ribeye steak, with a baked potato, and salad. Gail’s favorite at home meal would be a crab and shrimp boil complete with potatoes, corn, and homemade cocktail sauce. Yummm!
